Rice cake – Rettaikili ponni rice

Ingredients

  • 1cup rice
  • Milk
  • Sugar
  • Eggs
  • Baking powder
  • Cup flour
  • Vanilla Essence

Instructions

Step1: Soak Rettaikili rice with milk for 2-3 hours

Step 2: To a blender add the soaked rice along with 2 eggs, 2/3 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup oil and blend for 2-3mins.

Step 3: To the blended mixture add half a cup of flour and a pinch of baking soda. Mix well and add a few drops of vanilla essence to it.

Step 4: Pour the cake batter into a greased cake mold.

Step 5: Preheat a curry pan for 5-7min. Place the cake mold with batter into the preheated pan and cook on low flame for 35-40min.

Step 6: Delicious rice cake is ready to taste now.
